Session 6 — Roundtable
This roundtable discussion brings together contributors to a forthcoming edited collection: Saint Francis and the Lepers Catch Up with COVID. Both the collection and discussion aim to explore the relationship between Francis’ “embrace of the leper” and the contemporary response to COVID. Given that Francis embraced and lived with lepers during the height of the leprosy pandemic, his example is of particular interest to our contemporary age.
