While our Franciscan ideals lead us to serve the poor and marginalized, we must do so in a way that builds reciprocal, synergistic and transformative partnerships. A well-structured strategy for community-university partnership can have powerful impacts in the communities we serve as well as the students, faculty and administrators who participate.
